Now in its third year, National Family Week is the biggest annual celebration of families and family life in the UK.

The week creates opportunities for families to spend time together and works with its partners and not-for-profit organisations to provide fun activities and useful resources that actively combat the biggest barriers to positive family life.

Could you hold an event?

Perhaps you could;

  • Host a coffee and crafts session for the whole family to take part in.
  • Organise a community treasure hunt, ending with refreshments at your venue.
  • If the weather is nice, you could organise a picnic in the local park. You could play some family games; rounders, tug-o-war or take along a parachute.

There is a National Day of prayer for church based toddler groups being held on Sunday 5th June, this provides an opportunity for you to pray for your local toddler group, its leaders and all the families it comes into contact with. Click here to download a poster that you can use in your church.
