Evaluate

Evaluate is the CARE sex education resource for secondary schools. The course is a DVD multimedia based resource designed to be used in three phases in years 7, 9 and 11. A primary school resource is currently in development, which will be of use with years 5 and 6.

Evaluate is a trained facilitator-led resource that is offered by the church to the schools in its community.

Each facilitator undergoes a four-day training course with CARE. These run three times a year across the country. The current cost of the course is £275, which includes all the training and resources plus full board en suite accommodation.

It requires a minimum of two people from the church to attend in order to start a team and offer the course in your area. Support is provided and overseen by Evaluate, and after a trial period the newly qualified facilitators are assessed and accredited.
