A peg-leg donkey

  • Cut out legless donkey from card.
  • Wrap wool five times around a piece of card about 6cm wide.
  • Take off card and knot at one fold.
  • Cut through wool to create tail, and glue on.
  • The cloak is a piece of paper folded in half with the verse printed on one side. (The cloak was an adaptation to fit in with the Palm Sunday theme.)
  • Legs are pegs (available very cheaply from supermarkets) – peg legs work for all sorts of animals!
