Yellow or orange card
-
Yellow craft feathers
-
Washable marker pen or thick felt tip pen
-
Gluestick or PVA glue and spreader
-
Thin elastic (approx. 30cm)

How to make a chick mask:
-
Cut out a quarter segment and two round eye holes from the paper plate.
-
Cut out a diamond shape from the card and fold in half to make a beak.
-
Glue the beak and feathers on to the plate.
-
Add nostrils to the beak with the marker or felt tip pen.
-
Cut a suitable length of elastic to go around the back of the head. Tie a knot in each end to stop it slipping through and staple to each side of the plate to complete the mask.
