  • Washable marker pen or thick felt tip pen
  • Thin elastic (approx. 30cm)
  • Scissors

How to make a tiger mask:

  • Cut out a quarter segment and two slanted oval eye holes from the paper plate. Colour or paint the plate yellow (optional).
  • Cut out two orange ears, two white inner ears, an orange muzzle, a black nose and several triangular orange ‘stripes’ from the card.
  • Glue the features on to the paper plate.
  • Add detail with the marker or felt tip pen.
  • Cut a suitable length of elastic to go around the back of the head. Tie a knot in each end to stop it slipping through and staple to each side of the plate to complete the mask.
