You will need:
-
Paper plate
-
Pink, red and brown card. Top tip – use a manila file for cheap brown card.
-
Gluestick or PVA glue and spreader
-
Thin elastic (approx. 30cm)
-
Scissors
-
Stapler
-
Brown crayon or brown paint and paintbrush (optional)
How to make a reindeer mask:
-
Cut out a quarter segment and two round eye holes from the paper plate.
-
Colour or paint the plate brown (optional).
-
Cut out two brown ears, two pink inner ears, a brown forelock and a red nose from the card. Trace around both of the child’s hands on the brown card and cut out to make the two antlers.
-
Glue the features on to the plate.
-
Cut a suitable length of elastic to go around the back of the head. Tie a knot in each end to stop it slipping through and staple to each side of the plate to complete the mask.
