You will need:

  • Paper plate
  • Black card
  • Gluestick or PVA glue and spreader
  • Thin elastic (approx. 30cm)
  • Scissors
  • Stapler

How to make a panda mask:

  • Cut out a quarter segment and two round eye holes from the paper plate.
  • Cut out two ears, two oval eyes and a nose from the black card. Cut oval eye-holes from the black oval eyes which are larger than the ones which you cut in the paper plate so that some of the white plate shows through.
  • Glue the features on to the paper plate.
  • Cut a suitable length of elastic to go around the back of the head. Tie a knot in each end to stop it slipping through and staple to each side of the plate to complete the mask.
