Photo of a snail biscuit

This slimy creature is certain to be popular with the boys and chocoholics alike.

You will need:

  • A rectangular chocolate biscuit
    e.g. ‘Penguin’ biscuit
  • A chocolate tea-cake
  • A chocolate finger biscuit
  • White writing icing
  • Icing to glue the snail together. Top tip – supermarkets sell tubs of ready-made chocolate icing which is ideal for this.

How to make a snail biscuit:

  • Cut the ends off the chocolate finger to make suitably sized tentacles. Top tip – the middle section is not required but is still edible. Yum yum!
  • Stick the tea-cake ‘body’ and tentacles on to the chocolate biscuit with icing.
  • Use the white writing icing to add the eyes to the top of the tentacle and the spiral on to the shell.
