Cheeky monkey mask

You will need:

  • Paper plate
  • Orange card
  • Gluestick or PVA glue and spreader
  • Washable marker pen or thick felt tip pen
  • Thin elastic (approx. 30cm)
  • Scissors
  • Stapler
  • Orange crayon or orange paint and paintbrush (optional)

How to make a monkey mask:

  • Cut out a quarter segment and two round eye holes from the paper plate. Colour or paint the plate orange (optional).
  • Cut out two ears and a nose from the orange card.
  • Glue the ears and nose on to the paper plate.
  • Add detail to the nose and ears with the marker pen or felt tip.
  • Cut a suitable length of elastic to go around the back of the head. Tie a knot in each end to stop it slipping through and staple to each side of the plate to complete the mask.
