Elastic band guitar
You will need:
- Any small sturdy empty box (I used one which had held washing tablets)
- Good quality paper. Top tip – old gift bags provide nice, thick paper
- Stickers or washable colouring pens, pencils or crayons to decorate
- Gluestick or PVA glue and spreader
- Elastic bands of various sizes. Top tip – cut around the top of an old pair of latex or washing-up gloves to make large elastic bands
- Duct tape
How to make a guitar:
- Cut a hole in the top of the box.
- Cover with paper and colour or decorate with stickers.
- Stretch the elastic bands around the box and hold in place with duct tape to prevent them being removed and presenting a choking hazard.
- Strum away!
