Playdough recipe
For a playdough recipe that keeps well in a sealed container:
- 1/2 cup salt
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tablespoon cream of tartar
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 cup water
- food colouring
Mix all the ingredients in a saucepan. Heat gently, stirring all the time. When the dough has reached the right consistency, take it off the heat and allow to cool.
