Soapy snowman

Photo of a soapy snowmanThis craft is a great, messy play activity!

  • All you need is a box of soapflakes (you might want to buy the unperfumed sort) and a large tub or tray.
  • It’s probably best to have water available in a squeezy bottle, so you can let it out bit by bit.
  • The children just need to mix the soapflakes and water until they get to the stage where you can shape the soap into a snowman (or other object).
  • We added a carrot nose with coloured paper, and then put each snowman on a card to dry.
  • You can use the snowman as soap when you get home.

For another winter craft check out the chilly penguin mask and reindeer finger puppet.
