I’m just about over the excitement of our Playtime National conference in September – thank you so much to everyone who came.
The theme of the conference this year was ‘Truly Inspirational’ and our aim was to inspire and encourage you. Your comments and feedback have assured us that we were, indeed, able to meet that goal.
Rob Parsons, our first speaker, started by sharing his belief that what we do as group leaders is important.
And we need to keep doing what we’re doing, because of the difference we are making in the lives of the toddlers and families that we serve. Other helpful talks included topics such as building better relationships within our groups, ideas on how to establish prayer within a toddler group setting, how we welcome people and ways in which we can develop, train and nurture our team.
As always, I would love to hear from you. What’s happened since you came home from the conference? What did you learn? Do you plan to change anything in your toddler group as a result? Do drop me a line and I’ll share your stories so that we can encourage each other.
It’s Playtime’s 10th Anniversary next year! We’ll be celebrating that at the annual conference on Saturday 6th October 2012. Put that date in your diary now so that you don’t miss it!
If you were unable to get along to the conference, you may not have had the opportunity to hear about two very popular resources.
